Astellas USA Foundation is a tax-exempt, nonprofit corporate foundation that awards grants to support charitable, scientific, literary and educational programs. The Astellas USA Foundation has been enriching the lives of people in the communities we serve. We focus on core areas to maximize our contribution to society. Currently, our areas of focus are Health and Well-Being; Health and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Education; and Disaster Relief. We provide funding to organizations that have a long-standing history of promoting mental health, supporting people with disabilities and helping people who are underserved access the health care that they need. We strive to inspire students to develop an interest and proficiency in STEM subjects by supporting organizations that reach directly into the classroom, and by funding STEM-related online and after-school enrichment programs . The programs that we fund expose students to STEM-related careers, provide them with first-hand learning experiences, and inspire the next generation of scientists.
