Founded in Houston, Texas in 2009, Kappa Theta Epsilon Sorority, Incorporated is a professional-interest sorority for lesbian professionals and entrepreneurs. The Sorority works to provide LGBT and women`s rights focused community service in a variety of local areas. Members of Kappa Theta Epsilon come from all walks of life, and have varied experiences, but the common threads among the membership are leadership potential, a passion for serving the community, and a heart for supporting like-minded women nationwide. Women ages 19 and up, who are currently pursuing post-secondary education or working in a professional field are eligible for membership.
